Prana Breathing

This exercise is borrowed from the practice called Prana Yoga. It’s aim is to turn the human body into a prana energy “magnet”. Here are the steps –

1) As you breathe try to physically take the air you inhale all the way down to your root center. Which is your genitals. Force the air of your inhale to the lower portion of your lungs.

2)Strive to drive the air even further, straight down to your lower intestines. As if it were to flow right out the lower end of your abdomen. Feel the stretching of the lower abdominal muscles and a general relaxation of the rest of the body as you hold the air down deep for 15 to 30 seconds.

3) While holding the air as far down as possible, “will” the life force to flow to your root center to increase its energy flow and transform your root chakra to having the attraction power of a super magnet.

These exercise is meant to cause your root chakra to become very absorbent of prana energy. Practice this exercise for 10 to 15 minutes several times a day until it feels natural.
